Though the Timblin community was settled in the 1880's,  Timblin Borough was established on January 30, 1923.  Timblin Borough borders Ringgold Township on the North and East, Porter Township on the South and Armstrong County's Redbank Township on the West. 

Borough Council meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Borough Building.
