Act 537 Plan

In compliance with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Timblin Borough is preparing an Act 537 Plan to address wastewater management and sewage disposal needs. The borough is actively working to secure funding for this proposed project to minimize the economic impact to the community.

Funding options are being considered and evaluated at this time. The borough is planning to submit a Grant request for the DCED Small Water and Sewage Program (Maximum $500,000) and evaluating the best timing for PENNVEST Advanced Design Funding funds submission. The timing of the next steps are highly dependent upon securing grant funds and the availability of those funds.
